RankedRight, the platform helping MSPs and MSSPs across the world to profitably scale their vulnerability management offering, has appointed David Brandon, co-founder of RotaCloud, as CTO Advisor.
Despite launching only one year ago, RankedRight has established itself as managed service providersâ secret weapon in vulnerability management because of its ability to automate the vulnerability prioritisation process based on each clientâs individual risk appetite.
And, with a board and advisory team comprising industry heavyweights such as serial tech entrepreneur Andy Bokor, world-renowned information security expert Nicholas Percoco, former IBM Associate Partner and vulnerability management specialist Thomas MacKenzie, and technology operations expert Peter Yeo, as well as investors Armando Romeo, the founder of eLearnSecurity and Managing Partner of Romeo Capital, and Sumit âSidâ Siddharth, serial entrepreneur and mentor to budding infosec entrepreneurs, RankedRightâs second year is expected to be even more impactful.
To help make this expectation a reality, David Brandon, co-founder of RotaCloud, a global leader in staff management software solutions, is to join RankedRight as CTO Advisor. At the forefront of technical innovation in the SaaS field and with more than a decade of experience advising startups in the tech space, his place on the RankedRight team was both well deserved and eagerly anticipated.
Commenting on David Brandonâs appointment, Thomas MacKenzie, CEO of RankedRight, said, âWe have huge respect for RotaCloud and its technology and to have its CTO, David, share his time and wisdom with us as we embark on the next exciting stage in our business is invaluable. We are good friends and Iâm confident weâll have a fantastic working relationship too.â
David Brandon commented, âRankedRightâs proposition and approach drew me in immediately. Iâm particularly passionate about working with tech companies whose aim is to streamline and simplify the experience for users, so this was a natural fit, and Iâm really pleased to be able to help support RankedRight through its next stage of growth.â
Created in the UK, RankedRight is a triage system that follows a teamâs pre-set rules to automate the time-consuming yet crucial process of ranking vulnerabilities in order of impact to their clientâs business. With teams reportedly wasting an average of 76% of their day remediating low priority risks, RankedRight enables them to divert their attention towards tackling the most critical issues and keep their clients safe.
